my friend was looking for a puppy and found what she thought were decent breeders of her chosen breed, the breeder i thought after speaking with my friend was extremly pushy, she then recieved another call tonight 3 in 3 days about viewing this particular litter,my friend apoligised and said that due to a few family problems that she didn't think it was the right time, this breeder said nothing and just put the phone down on her
i said not to worry,as she probably wasn't the right breeder for her.

Thats right anyone who tries to "puppy push" or the "Hard Sell" really isnt worth bothering with, sounds like they dont really care about the pups, or the Dam for that matter.

Also it is never an god idea from the breedrs point of view, the last thing you want i an owner tha may not be commited to wanting a pup or unsure, by being pushy the potential owner may ge the pup and find it was the wrong decision and the pup then bounces and the breeder has to find a home for it.

I would sooner put someone off and make them think of the negatives than encourage them, then if they are still keen then they wil come back or find a diferent bred or decide dog wonership or that breed isn't for them.
