Does anyone know if a hip score of 14 is bad for a dalmatian?  My friend who is a vet said she cant ever remember ever seeing one hip scored .  She is going to look at her chart on Wednesday but I am sure one of you brain boxes will have the answer. 

Last BVA figures I have show a breed mean score of 10, with 99 dogs having been scored in a range of 0-39. 

It's recommended that breeding stock are below the breed mean score, but as with all other things it is a point to be taken into consideration.

If you go on the BVA website you can bring up the breeds scores.  I don't know how up-to-date it is but you'll get a fair idea of the scores.  Can't do links but I'm sure somebody will come along with one shortly :d
