Thanks for all the advice on crate training! I posted a a message about my great dane wrecking my house which i let hubby read and he still wasnt that convinced so i threatend to get rid of the dog (because i was getting so stressed out)
Anyway he gave in and got her a crate what a difference!!
I have more time and patience with her now cause she loves it in there! She only cried the first 2 nights and has since gone all week from about 10.30 to 8.00 ish with no problems and is quite happy to go in when we are going out. so everyone is happy now we can really enjoy her!

Well done Dawny!!! It's good to share that even Great Danes love their crates. My dane loves anything as long as it is soft and comfy :-D

Excellent piggin! Crates are a blessing , but remember in 3-4 months your going to have to upgrade to a bigger size! :D. I remember when my Jojo found out one day he just couldnt get into his crate and when he was in his body was all squished. He was whining!

My dogs love the cold hard plastic , tetest beds and sheets!

I got a jumbo great dane size its huge!!
