One of the easiest ways to get into dog showing is to go to an open show :D :D they are very relaxed and you would be able to see/meet all of the dogs under one roof, on the same day :D  most of the exhibitors will be ready and willing to talk to you, except when they are about to go in the ring ;)

You can find out about Open shows close to you in the dog papers :D and here

Often the best bet is to ask your dog's breeder for help -he or she can often advice on suitable shows coming up, what preparation is needed for your breed etc. Then finding a ringcraft class is very useful as you will get help to learn to handle your dog.

As the others have said it is easy really and once your dog has a little ringcraft uner it's belt (they can start any age though an older dog will be at a slight disadvatage against more experienced ones until it gets the hang of things).

It can be a bit daunting jumping in at the deep end at a Championship show, so try a few Open shows first.  You will usually get to know a few people at Ringcraft who are likely to be thre and get introduced to others and before you know it your an old hand :D

You7r breeder should be of great help especially un your own breed so you don't feel shy :D

Well done Roni! I qualified my boy at his 2nd Champ show back when he was a puppy, it's a great feeling! I think I could hear his breeder shrieking for joy when I told her even without the phone!

Well done! That's fantastic! You will never forget that feeling of excitment.  The first time you qualify your dog for Crufts is very special, no matter how much winning you do in the future. :)
