Our puppy is due for her first jabs at the end of next week. we are changing vets and rang two vets who said only two jabs were needed at 8 weeks and one vet said three were needed. How many does she need???

That would depend on what is in each jab. Different companies make different combinations. Ask the vets to be more specifc about what they are vacinating against.
