I have a beautiful 12 week old Cairn Terrier bitch pup from a lovely breeder. She had her first injection at the breeders vet and no problems were found but when I took her to my vet for her second injection, he said that we could hear a squeak in her heart beat. He said it wasn't like a traditional heart mumur more like a squeak sound. Has anyone heard of anything like this?
She is an extremely normal, loveable puppy and has settled into our family really well. We are prepared for looking after her whatever the future holds but just want to know what we are facing.
Any information would be much appreciated.

An update on my Cairn's heart squeak. She went back to the vet's today and he was unable to find any trace of the heart squeak and has given her a clean bill of health.
I am so relieved - she really is a lovely pup and I would thoroughly recommend cairn terriers' to anyone that is looking for a family dog if they have young children. She really is devoted to my two children.
