my pup has started chewing one corner of my mums carpet he only chews this one corner. We have now put a plastic garden fence around it but now he just sits in front of it and crys.  Has any one got any tips to stop him doing this

Give him plenty of things he can chew - knotted rope toys are good, my dogs love toilet rool insides as well.  Praise him when he chooses to chew these things, and you might like to try spraying the things you don't want him to chew with a 'bitter apple' spray from a pet shop.......
