I think I read a post on here that when a bitch has been mated the vulva stays swollen after the season has finished if she is pregnant, If the vulva has gone back to normal size at the end of the season would this mean that she has probably missed when mated or could she still have taken.

I'm no expert but my girls did. The waiting to find out is the hardest isn't it! By about 3-4 weeks my girls nipples were nice and pink and she had a clearish/discharge. I got her scanned at 4 weeks but 2 days before the scan I was 99% sure she was as her sides started to thicken. All you can do really is wait :-)

my bitch was mated and at the end of season she went to normal size, well just a little bigger than normal, but unfortunatly she had missed.
