The KC have still not sent the CC form or conformation of champion status from when we won at Paignton.  Is this normal as the other CC's and Junior warrant certificates arrived really quickly and as I have had two entries go missing recently i am a little panicky.  We have contacted the KC via email and recieved no reply which i know is normal as they dont usually discuss awards.

The busiest time of the year for champ shows (both  general, group & breed club) is June, July & August hence major awards won during that period are often quite a bit later being sent out than those in spring/winter.  Don't be alarmed ;)

Thanks Terri I had everyone saying that they should have been through by now.  Another quick question can we still enter the champion stakes as one of my most favourite judges in the whole world is judging them even though it is has not been confirmed?

Says nothing in the rules for entering the classes as far as I can see about confirmation of the award.  I would enter, an if the worst came to worst you could withdraw.

Well I can see absolutely no reason why it wouldnt go through its not as if she hasnt won them fair and square.  I have held of entering but am running out of time!!!

Just seen this again.  As Brainless says there's nothing in the rules re. awaiting confirmation.  You'll notice most adverts in the dog press announcing a 3rd CC  say Ch ...... "subject to KC approval" but there is no such requirement that you cannot call the dog a champion if it has met the well publicised criteria so ;)   So enter before it's too late!   regards, Teri
