I live in the United States where the German Spitz Klein or miniature Spitz is not known. I had miniature spitz which I brought back from overseas who was my faithful companion and best friend for 16 years. She died last year at the age of 17 and there is still a hole in my heart.
I did not know that she was a pure bred dog the first 5 years that I owned her until I moved to Ogden, Utah where in a shopping mall in the pet store I looked up dogs and saw her picture. My dog looked exactly like the picture you have on your web site. She was actually short haired the first year or so that I owned her and she became shaggier as she got older. My dog was joy to own and she actually nursed a cat for 6 months although she never had puppies.
I am currently having employment difficulties as I am allergic to perfume, and I very much want to get another miniature spitz. I have no idea how much one would cost and where in the United states I might find one or if I need to go to England for one.
