I have been weaning my 8 wk old pup onto Burns Mini Bites, from PC which the breeder had her on. According to the the dietician i spoke to on the 'Burns helpline,' Mini Bites were the correct food to start my pup on. However, i haven't owned a medium/large breed before and i wondered if the Mini Bites were ok to give her or should i be weaning onto a puppy complete for larger breed pups? The packaging states that it is suitable for small breed adults and all puppies. I guess i should listen to the dietician, but due to conflicting advice, i'm a little puzzled! She is a Dobermann, cheers.

Idõ was weaned on the mini bites and we kept him on them until he was about 4/5 months, we then, on his breeders advice, switched him onto the Canine Extra, and he'll be on that until he's about 18 months. Its brought him on nicely, and not too fast, and he loves it! Our girls are on the Adult MAintenence and we've found Burns to be an excellent food for them all.
He's a HWV, so also a medium/large breed, so I hope what I've said helps :)

Thanks Emily, just love Vislas they are stunning dogs. Ok i'll stick with the mini bites, which she loves and stay with the burns in future.
