I am interested in showing abroad next year, does anyone have any experience of this or pet passports, I gather it takes approx 6/7 months before you can take and re-enter the uk.  Has anyone experienced any difficulty or adverse affects with the rabies vaccination.  Also, are there any arranged coaches which travel to shows abroad.Thanks

There are quite a few people on here who will be able to answer your questions, I'm aiming to take my new puppy with me next year when I go abroad to Holland & Germany so I'll be looking for guidance too ;) first step for me is the dreaded microchip(I do not like them at all)when he has his last jab & then rabies shots after that & blood tests after 30 days

I have sent puppies to friends abroad that have had rabies shots & they have never had any reactions

WE have quite a few pet passported, and several who have gone abroad who were given their Rabies shots,  never had any adverse reactions, but have had two who had to be re vaccinated, as anitbodies were not high enough at first test (one in the UK and one in the USA)
