The other day my doggies food bowl fell over.. and ever since he wont eat out of it. he huffs and puffs at it untill you hold it for him.. How do i stop him doing this? I didn't console him when he got scared, and its my mom that gives into him and holds his bowl but still.. i cant understand it

He's gotten a fright - simple ;)  Completely ignore it but put something non-slip (even newspaper) to "cushion" the bowl when putting down and for him eating  from it) but don't hold the bowl for him or it will become a habit.

Alternatively buy him a plastic or ceramic bowl (I'm assuming his usual one is metal) if you're concerned.

Regards, Teri :)

Put something really yummy in it that smells delicious before he has had his normal meal. That should get him interested in it. :-)

My puppy now 8m didnt like the noise from her stainless steel bowl if her collar tapped on it she would sit and look at the bowl but wouldnt touch the food .
I changed the bowl for a plastic one and she wolfed it down I did this for a few weeks and then went back to the stainless steel bowl and she was fine I suggest you try doing the same.
