can anyone recommend which puppy food would be a good choice for a boxer. i don't really want to know what to look for in a good food

Well you should always start with whatever the breeder has been feeding & then change over slowly

As to the best food thats the one that suits your dog the best

My bigger dogs get a mixture of complete & raw & the little ones get kibble & cooked chicken

I feed my puppies on Pets At Home own puppy food.  It is a really good one and wheat/gluten free too.
I have swapped puppies straight onto it that have had runny tummys on the diet from breeder and they have become firm within 12-24 hours.
Pups seem to thrive on it too.
