Over the last few weeks bailey has decided he loves midget gems. When he hears the ice-cream van he wags his tail because thats all my older son buys. He left them in a bag on the sofa and bailey was off with them. He took them to his basket hid them and went back every now and again coming back with jaws going as if we didn't notice. If he doesn't get any he sits and begs even refuses his ice-cream cone now only midget gems everyone thinks it funny as he sits for ages with one.

Reading your bit about snails... just reminded me what our boy use to do... he would smash the snail then rub his chin over it &  they stink.... anyone know why  he'd do such a digusting thing? Lucky for us he grew out of it !!!!

Hi bailey,
one eates socks, if you don't get there quick enough. also if we ever leave money with in his reach
he will take and swollow the notes, from£5.00 note £10.00 note also a £20.00 Hubby just managed
to open his mouth and a little of the £20.00 was just showing in his throat, lucky he just managed
to get it back. Tissues. cannot resist them. has to get them quick and swollow them before you can
get to him. They all love scratchings. the pup cheese biscuits. The older dogs favourite is ginger biscuits
dipped in tea. If he is ever off his food or feels down that always works.
Regards
Denese

Bruce does not seem to eat things, just brings odd stuff in from the garden.
The other night he walked in and I saw 2 legs sticking out of his mouth. He opened up and dropped a frog which then jumped around in front of us. I was amazed that a 100lb pup could be so gentle, not a mark on the frog! Lucky chap :) I still gave him a kiss goodnight and he returned the favour too :)

You kissed the frog goodnight? Did it turn into a handsome prince? :D :D
- By Minipeace [gb] Date 04.08.05 23:03 UTC
Hope not, I'm a straight guy :-D
- By Minipeace [gb] Date 04.08.05 23:06 UTC
And I'm still looking for my Maid Marion who needs a guy with tight leggins :-D
- By Nika Date 05.08.05 04:15 UTC
I'm confused minipeace, are you looking for a damsel in distress or a maid marion?  I didn't realize that straight men wore leggins, like to see a photo of that :)
- By Minipeace [gb] Date 05.08.05 05:58 UTC
Hehehehe I am now blushing :) perhaps I should be look for a Snowwhite who wants to be woken by a handsome prince :)

My dad's childhood dog - Tiny - refused to eat anything unless it was soaked in tea. His meals were soaked in tea and he loved it. He was a very strange little guy but was very much loved by my dad at a time when his family were exceptionally poor, Tiny made life special for my dad.

LOLOL Vicki have you ever read the 'Morris' column in Dogs Today? I think he is a kindred spirit :D

My pup ate my copy of 'How To Have a Well Mannered Dog'...I'm hoping she has 'digested' the section on how to deal with problem behaviours like CHEWING!!

Our boy is a flip-flop connissuer....particularly keen on the foreign varieties (favourite pair bought in New York).

LOL!

Reminds me of the time my friend's dog ate her shopping - a bag of oranges, 11 Mr Kipling pies, and some bananas or something like that. Then they washed them down with her indigestion tablets, as if they knew they'd overdone it!!!!

If something is strictly forbidden then that's exactly the something that Nipper most wants to eat! We're having particular "issues" with bog roll right now but yesterday he bolted along the hallway with my watch. Which was hanging, daintily, from each side of his mouth as he desperately looked for somewhere to hide while he snacked on it.

Our pup chewed through my nephew's brand new PSP charger's wire at the weekend  Before you say it, I was up in the shower, but there were about 5 people sat in the living room, watching him do it, but not quite noticing what he was doing! Luckily, although it was plugged in, he chewed the end that comes out of the transformer, else he would have had a pretty big shock! :(
