When you know deep in your heart that the new owners of your puppies are going to really cherrish, care for and love that puppy as much as you did. I think I've been so lucky with all of the people pepsi's puppies have gone to. I have had quite a few enquiries from really unsuitable people, many who seem to think that a puppy is ok to be left on it's own for six hours of the day or more. But yesterday my favorite puppy Frazzle (I know you should'nt really have a favorite but hey, I can't help it), went to his new home and I am so glad that this family picked him and I picked them for him. They are lovely, they have had a boxer dog before so are very knowledgable about the breed, have shown boxers before etc and it has took them a few years now to make the final decision to have another boxer become part of their family. I know I am rambling on a bit but they have had a big impact on me. When they came yesterday, they brought me a gift to say thank you, a lovely plate with a boxer on it and I am still choked up today thinking of how kind and sweet they are. All my other families have been great too but these people are just extra special and I can't wait to see my favourite boy again when he's older. This has been my first litter and possibly my last litter and people who have litters expecting to make a lot of money out of them are in for a shock. It's not the money (or lack of it)that makes it worth while, it's the huge satisfaction you get knowing that your puppies are going to have a wonderful life with a wonderful family.
arrrrrr im glad you found rearly good homes for your babies, :) wen we got meg i took a gift but aparently it was quite unusual the breeder said. i cant belive theyve grown and left home already it dusnt seem that long ago she had them. did you end up keeping your brindle bitch?
Hi Mini-meg, Yes I am keeping Fizz our brindle and white bitch. It's now so strange, I seem to have so much time now even though I still have Fizz, Pepsi, Sam and one other brindle bitch (Bella) who will be going to her new home on 14th Aug. Life seems very quite now! It's funny but although I actually feel quite proud of puppies etc I am also feeling very emotional and upset right now, it's almost like withdrawel symtoms I suppose.

I have found there are usually one or two owners from each litter who become extended family and visit and the dogs coem to stay or you see them at shows. This is the bit I love :D

Yes, one of my dogs' breeders is pretty much my best friend now, and through her I have met loads of new dog friends - much to the despair of the OH!!
Know exactly how you feel as that's the way I felt with my Boxer babies :D
This is the hardest part entrusting your little cherubs with their new owners :)
I even delivered my pups to their new homes...lol had to make sure that they were ok.
All were fine and they still keep incontact 4 years on :)
I was'nt really able to deliver puppies to new homes apart from one who only went down the road to the next village. All the rest apart from one have gone to far away places such as Blackpool, Leeds, Dumfries (which is'nt too far really), Whitehaven and even as far as Grimsby. Although I am phoning them every few days to see that all is well, I just can't help myself.

I had a lovely phone call from one of my new owners at the weekend. She had taken her girl Bracken to a local agricultural show where they had a small dog show (not a companion show) So she thought she would enter Bracken who is 17 weeks in the baby puppy class. When she phoned me I could hear all sorts of whooping and what a good girl type thing. When I finally calmed her down enough to establish who it was she told me that Bracken had won the class. When speaking to her you can tell that she absoloutely adores her and loves her to peices, I love it when we get pictures sent from all the owners. It makes me so proud that they have all settled so well and are having a wonderful time with their new owners.

I'm looking forward to meeting up with my new pups owners in a couple of weeks, they all seem soooo nice, I've met two personally a few times now, another has been recommended by a number of people and the fourth one is a friend of someone who has had a pup off me previously and they look after him whilst they are at work. They all seem such lovely people and I know that they will take good care of my babies.
What's happening to the fifth you might say???? Hopefully staying at their grandparents I hope :d but if not think I've found another nice owner at the weekend.
Hi pepsi mum aww its the hardest thing ever in my eyes letting go of boxer babies, but like you i found wonderful forever homes with my litter, all my puppies went to boxer homes which really pleased me i get photos sent of all the pups and last xmas i recieved cards from each of them. makes it all worthwhile although i did keep a little boy as it was one of my bitches last litters and i had really fell in love with him.
hi im glad you have found homes for your lovely babies, i still have one of my pups here due to many timewasters but he will only go to a good home, one of our pups maisie we were holding her until her new mum and dad returened from america, when they cam efor her they had bought my 3 kids a gift each from disney world, the email pictures every 3 days for me
