I am looking to breed with my bitch, but the problem is that the sire i have found seems to be related.

The proposed sires grandfather is my bitches father, does this cause any problems?

This technically means that my bitch is a (step, Half Aunt) of the proposed sire.

Your comments on this would be grately appreciated

If there are no inherited diseases in the line that you are aware of, and if both animals are of good breed type, sounds like quite a good mating to me. Other than the common sire / grandsire, the rest of the pedigree shouldn't be too close though.

You would probably be best to discuss this with your girls breeder - she will (hopefully) know whether it would cause problems. Have you done your own research into your bitches pedigree?
