my Bitch is almost 8 weeks pregnant and usually enjoys the raw diet which she has. For the last week or so she has completely resused to eat raw and wont eat anything until ive cooked it, has anyone else had this experience?

Just as humans have food cravings and food 'sickenings' [for want of a better word] when pregnant so too can dogs.   It is just the influence of hormones and if your bitch prefers her food cooked then give it cooked.    She may go back to her old preferences afterwards but the time scale will vary with individuality so be guided by her.

Yes it is quite common.

I find after they have their puppies they like it all cookec also and hand fed ;-)

Just before my Daisy had her pups she went completely off any raw food but went completely bonkers for some complete food I happened to have in.  Even for a short while after having her pups she still refused anything raw so she stayed on the complete with all sorts of other cooked bits & bobs thrown in.  Daisy did go back to her raw food eventually though :-)

Incidentally, my girl Emma who had her pups 18 months ago & just before I changed to raw, went the other way when she had her pups, wouldn't entertain any complete or cooked food, would only eat raw!!

It's made me think that often our girl's know much more about what's good for them than we think!!
