I posted a pic of my 15 week old Rottie on another forum and was told that she has such a beautifull face, that I really should show her. How do I find out about shows and how old do the dogs need to be. I live in the Hertfordshire area.

A dog needs to be 6 mths to start showing. But try and find a ringcraft class ASAP. Maybe you could ask your breeder about showing. Where about in hertfordshire do you live? PM me if you want. I know of a couple in herts.
Does the breeder you got her from show? This would be the first place to start in asking her opinion of her showing potential. Dogs cannot be shown until they are six months old under KC rules. There are two good dog papers Our Dogs and Dog World which you can get from your newsagent weekly. These list alot of the shows across the country. You need to find a ringcraft class to take her to in the near future. If you put where you are in Hertfordshire, someone should reply. If not contact the Kennel Club of Great Britain for a list in your area. There are also lots of websites which list clubs etc.
A ringcraft class is good as there is always someone there who will help you in regards to filling in applications for shows etc. also here on CD there is a wealth of experience to be had.
Good luck and enjoy.
The breeder does show and I hope to meet her this Sunday at a training session run by the Rottie Association. They ran on the best 2 puppies as I could not pick her up until she was 11 weeks due to personal committments and up until 4 days before we brought her home, they were going to keep this one, but then the other pup looked like it had a better body so they kept her.
Sorry for my ignorance, but what is ringcraft? I live in Watford.

Ringcraft is a place where you go and they will train you to show your dog aswell as helping with problems, giving experiance and helping with any questions you may have. Know one in aston (nr stevenage) abit far from you depending on how far you want to travel. There is someone from watford coming I believe!
Stevanage is not too far away. Do you have details how what days and times. I think that this will keep her entertained and focussed on as well and may stop her eating my clothes.

It's on wednesday evenings, starts at 8:15 at Aston Village hall. We are there from 8 ish setting up.
Have PM'd you contact nums.
