Are male yorkies smaller than the females?? I heard that, when breeding, the male has to be smaller than the female. Is this true?? And if so, does it apply to all small breeds??

Thanks

This is in general true bewcause in toy breeds you want to breed from gd size bitches to minimise problems at whelpin (the size of pups relative to adult size is very large) so to keep the standard size snmaller males are prefered.
