My girl as got a few marks on her behind and i tried to rub fairy liquid in to soften it and get it out but only succeded in taking a clump of fur off :(
She now has a teeny bald patch and 2 marks remaining, the marks were from my other boy who when finished eating swung his head over her leaving slobber blobs mixed with food.
Any ideas how to remove them?

Nope that wouldn't work, imagine a bit of chewing gum in your hair thats what its similar to.
I have bathed her twice and to no avail it is just not shifting.
ooh that's not slobber then or not Boxer slobber!! :D
Have you tried an ice cube? As that's what they suggest with chewing gum...
freeze the stuff off...but careful of her skin.
If shampoo isn't working...mmmm most of the Boxer slobber comes off with baby wipes
or no rinse shampoo..
Sorry not to be of much use.

How about trying some sort of oil to soften it first. Baby oil or even Olive oil might work. then try wiping it off rather than pulling.
A little grooming tip I picked up. Bay Rum oil, that you can buy from Boots on the mens hair section, works a treat on Boxer type coats to give a sleek shiny finish. Just put it into a spray bottle, spray on and wipe over with a silk cloth, velvet or piece of chamois for that finishing look. It smells lovely as well :)

Hi, how about Bicarbonate of Soda?
