i cant wait
i will miss the first two shows as we have friends from usa staying so we cannot go :-(

but i will be at limerick and tralee i only live 15 mins away from the venue

Im going with our two wheatens and i can't wait!!! I have been to Co. Roscommon loads of times before but ive never been to many other places and i have never show in Ireland either! Just been looking at booking the ferry and i got me really excited!!! lol :D
We haven't received anything to do with the shows yet either. 
Im not looking forward to the driving though as there will be lots of it! We are going up to Co. Roscommon on the 17th and then we are travelling back to Dublin for the terrier show on the Saturday, then after the show we are going straight to Co. cork and then doing the four shows and then after the tralee show we will travel up to Dublin and catch the ferry!!!! So i bet i will be really tired after!!! :D

Hi, we are off to Ireland as well. Can't wait! This is our second year so it should be fun. The only thing I dont want to do is camp,  i am turnig 18 over there and i cant quite imagine me camping with no hairdryer or Straighteners for my birthday.
but oh well. We sent all of our entries away and got back confirmation of them receiving the entries but I dont think we have got anything else through (my mum and dad deals with that lol).
we are driving down to Stranrar  (from Aberdeen) then catching the ferry to Dublin. I think we have a utility show 1st and the off to the campsite. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the show that is being judged by European standards on the FCI system (I think its Tralee) ass all of the dogs are graded and I dont want my two being graded. Still I know they are fab and that's all that maters!! What breeds are you showing and is anyone else camping.

lol @ karen! :D poor you! camping on your birthday!!!! Im showing Soft coated wheaten terriers and i guess you are showing schnauzers. What colour and size do you have? Is this the first time you are doing the circuit?  :)

The panic is over, somebody has made a thingey that makes electricity at the campsite (technical stuff) so i can have a hairdryer and straitners!! Yay!!
I have standard schnauzers (2) pepper and salt but i show a mini and giant as well (not coming).
This will be my second year last year we got the reserve green star at every show and were told to get more weight on Chaligh the youngest one and she would be winning, so  Abbie is on a diet as she is getting fat in her old age and Chaligh is on a diet of porridge, corn beef and anything else she would like!!
I think its actually Clonmel that the dogs are graded, it's the one with the funny classes. It tells you all about it on page 11 of the schedule. I'm getting a bit exited now as i get over a week of work!!
How could you both be bothered with all that coat, I used to think I wanted an afghan hound and then decided it was probably silly so settled for just watching from afar!
Is anybody else camping or is it just my nasty family?

lol, love how it is so predictible! last year my grooming table with the space blacket over it acted as a tent! maybe i will take the little fisherman thing for me to sit in at shows.

last year i went to limerick show with my 2 cousins just for a look and to have a look at the breeds i was interested in at the time little did i know i would have a tibetan terrier this year

we have been having lovely weather in ireland so hopefully it will stay dry this year

Im not camping, we are stopping in a cottage in mallow which is kinda in between all the shows. This will be my first time showing in Ireland so I can't wait! I hope it is not too hot there but I think Ireland in august is not really scorching! I think we will be getting a fishermans tent as well as I don't like the idea if being out there in the rain wellies or no wellies!!!! :D

[Just to jump in on this thread and say that I am travelling to the Munster Circuit with 2 of my dogs too...don't know any of you, as I'm new here, but will try and keep a look out]

We're packing the trusty tent, and can't wait!

Yey! will be sooo great! you can all find me either at sheltie or yankee (american cocker) ring during judging, or anywhere you see a yankee or sheltie- just ask for me and you will find me! :) we will also have a blue tent, but as there will be so many, that probably doesnt help.....I will have to think of something to make it stand out a bit!!! :D
