I have just taken back a 3 year old that i sold as a puppy but the marriage broke up & he has come back. he is awfully thin & they tell me that they have tried everything & the only thing that doesnt go through him is pasta!!! I was furious that they havent sorted this problem out (although relieved just to get him back!) I am toying with idea of faecal sample maybe for pancreatic problem but has anyone got a suggestion for a complete diet that is gentle in meanwhile?
Chappie has been relied upon for many years for these sort of delicate digestions. Can't imagine how many tins one of yours would get through though :) but there is the dry complete version which I haven't actually tried but I have heard is good.
i would check with your vet first before you start trying to find out what foods best, you will get a 1001 anwsers here first. Once you are happy that there is nothing wrong with the dog then look for a high meat content food, most quailty foods are easy on the system -Jo
