You should try and get to a show quite near you and watch everything. That is sometimes more fun.

You daughter will love the junior handling when she gets going. Westies are very good for the Junior handling.  The runner up in Scotland last year and the National JH of the year at Crufts this year showed one of my westies.    Her parents show Salukis but she loves the westies.

I think it is good for youngsters confidence and wished I had done it, I would be a better handler by now ;-)

i am going to try and book a days holiday from work as the kids are off for Leeds show are you going? like you say will be good to watch pick up a few tips my daughter will be doing junior handling as well as mpd at our first show on the 21st Aughust.
