My first critique has gone in 'Our dogs'!!! I have done shows before but the write ups never seem to go in (Still waiting for one from February!!!  ) But this is what the judges said about Dougal at border union....

Puppy dog: 1st Watkins, Hammond and evens' Calvenace Leapy lee. Upstanding young dog of sound construction, appearing leggy whilst awaiting his adult coat. Moved well, handling a presentation excellent.

Absolutely! A young dog that resembles a mature adult is very wrong, and will be horrible when fully grown.

OOOOOhhhh  Jeangenie, doesn't always happen!  ;)

My Mia was a VERY mature looking puppy and she is a gorgeous looking 4 year old now!  She has changed very little since entering the ring at 8 months old.

It's great, isn't it?! Seeing your name in print for the first time and having nice things said about your dog :D

Well, we did ok......... Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Best Dog ;) At only his second champ show @ 7 months old.....still can't stop grinning like a fool!!!! So proud of my little Beard Boy!

Oh thats great!!!! well done! :D Dougal got best puppy in breed and the RCC at his 4th champ show at just 11 months, so sounds like paignton was lucky for both of us! His daddy got the CC and BOB and his half sister the BRCC. We also think that dougal is the youngest ever irish coated wheaten to gain his stud book number! so we were really pleased!!!!! Well done to you and i hope you will post you critique when it it published. :)
