Has anyone seen those door mats where your dog stands on it and the barks or rings or something, to let you know the dog wants to go out?   I've seen them on a website somewhere but can't remember where.  Poppy always goes to the back door when she wants to go out, but if the door's closed, she comes back into the lounge, looks at us and if we're unfortunate enough not to see her looking, she'll wee on the floor.  I know she's too young to verbally let us know she needs to go out, so I wondered if one of these mats would help in the meantime.

It is cheaper to attach a bell to the door or frame and teach her to ring it when she wants to go out......
