My little Breeze is trying to pee and all that comes out are drips, I went to let her out  and feed her just now and she must have tried to urinate at least 10 times in 45 mins, this has only come on today. Instead of leaving her to sleep in her crate, have left her in her playpen (back to newspaper on the floor) so she doesn't have to hold it (she can go into her crate as well).

On top of this, I think she may have an eye infection as she gets white discharge from both eyes. She also gets hiccups all the time. I made an appointment yesterday to see the vet tonight about her eyes, guess we are going to be a there a little longer. She is 14 weeks old today.

Has anyone else had these problems all at the same time with their puppies?

I've not had this problem with a pup but I had a 10 year old collie who suddenly couldn't pass water.  It turned out he had a hernia which was preventing the bladder working properly. They had to put a catheter in to empty the urine and the next day he had an op to repair the hernia.

Hope it's something more simple with your youngster but it definitely needs a vet's opinion.  Fingers crossed that she'll be soon be back to normal.

It does sound like it may be cystitis, a very painfull urinary infection, but quite quickly clears with antibiotics.  Dont force her to drink, but make sure she has plenty of water to drink, this will also help flush out any infection.  Glad you will be seeing vet tonight, and hope it is nothing more serious.

She has water in her crate so she can drink at anytime, espcially in this heat. She is so sweet when she drinks as she just dunks her head in the water bowl and soaks the house.
I hope its a small bladder infection that can be cleared up, but its just that it came on so suddenly. Will let you know tomorrow.

She does have an eye infection and has drops for this, kept her away from puppy class on Friday as we didn't want to pass it on to any other pups. Also, the vet thinks she has cistitis and has antibiotics for this, if it doesn't clear up by wednesday, then I have to take a urine sample for the vet to test.
Instead of leaving her in the crate, she also has access to her playpen while we are at work. Wehn I go home at lunch, I will see how she is doing. Its just that its back to newspaper on the floor, but I don't want her to have to hold it in while she has this condition.
