Hi everyone!
Just to let you all know that since starting my two boys on baytril for campylobacter last week (after a course of erythromycin which didn't work) both boys have been doing firm poos and much fewer of them too! You won't believe how much happier I am feeling to have this prob solved (hopefully) and no doubt the boys are much relieved too. Was beginning to consider buying shares in pooper scooper bags!!
We're now changing their food to JWB and Naturediet as the Wafcol Salmon & Potato was much harder to get hold of and so far so good. After the vet told us Charlie must have been rice intolerant it's a relief to find he isn't as there's so many foods to choose from now.
Thanks to all who helped, especially S Rowe! Also, I would urge any owners of pups with runny poo which doesn't improve to get a sample tested as it may well be a bug and not a food allergy after all.
