Topic Dog Boards / Health / Sand up hid nose?
- By Bob the spaniel [gb] Date 10.07.05 08:02 UTC
Hi,

Bob is a 6month old Cocker spaniel. Yesterday we took bob down onto the beach, he was digging in the sand and had a snezing fit. This morning he was very quiet, he usually whines when he wnts to go out, but didn't make a sound. He ran round the garden sneezing until the other half picked him up, then he clamed down and stopped sneezing, until he was put down.  He also has very gunky eyes this morning. I assume he has just got some sand up his nose that is making him sneeze, do you think it will be sneezed out or should we take him to the vets? His appetite is still very good.

Mine do the same, it could even just be salt water up there, they have snezums and it appears to help - you should see the faces they pull while sneezing though :o
