Still trying to find a remote quiet place for me, OH and a couple of dogs for a few days in Oct. was looking at Wales and although there are lots of places that will take well behaved pets, some of the pics look quite 'posh'. Would prefer soemthing whwre I have not got to be paranoid about dog hairs and also where there is a quiet beach we could go with dogs. Any ideas welcome.Any areas considerd if you have any personal reccommendations.

For that time of year North Yorkshire is perfect.  We book through Dales Holiday Cottages and they have a good selection of pets welcome, remote locations, open fires, agas etc.  Whitby Bay is only a few miles away (depending on where exactly you are in North Yorkshire of course!) We tend to stay within a 6 miles radious of the village of Stokesley and Whitby is not a long drive from there.  In October the beaches are empty and still completely stunning as well as flinging open your doors to view the open Yorkshire Moors.  Perfect!

Have spent many a week in house called Penlon. It is near to Rhosneigr.  Not too posh and you can relax in house with dogs. Beach a two min walk away through the sand dunes and no leads required.  Beach very dog friendly.  Not populated with lots of humans-infact we saw about a dozen the other week and we wondered where the crowd had come from !!.

A doggie pal of mine has been many times with her three collies plus a pal of hers with six toy breeds !!.

Two bed bungalow sleeps four/six. Great garden-no posh flower beds-heaps of parking.  Fantastic.  Hope you can get a week in October.  We are renting another of their properties in September. pm me and I will let you know the code of the property Penlon.
