I hope and trust that none of you or your loved ones were involved in todays explosions. I spent a few hours wondering about OH, but have just had a call to say he is fine (there are some advantages to starting really early!). Unfortunately for him he is unlikley to get home tonight as none of his shifts can get in and they have loads of work. But what the hell, I can live with that so long as he is OK.

Good to hear your OH is ok mine works in Lewisham and although i knew he wouldnt be caught up in it i still had to ring him,he will probably find it difficult getting home tonight although he is driving but that doesnt matter he is ok thats the main thing unlike so many other people today whos lives have been ripped apart.I also had to ring my son he was going to Leeds said he was driving but thought he might of changed his mind and gone on train with girlfriend thank goodness they drove.

My nephew's at college in London, but he was safe in the Charing Cross area at the time and last we heard he was walking home because of the lack of public transport.

That must of been such a relief.
