Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / chuffed to bits!!!

As you all know i had a few issues with my boys behaviour, biting and being aggressive and naughty. Well last night i had my niece and nephews here to babysit, (1,2 & 8). I was absolutely dredding it and had told my sis if i couldnt handle it i would have to bring them home as it was my dogs home and he was not going to be shut in another room while they were there. (i didnt think this would be very beneficial to his social skills if every time a child was around he was locked up). Anyway he was an angel, gentle and calm. He did knock my niece over but she was running and shouting chase me. I am so pleased he has come so far as he is only 5 1/2 months and i had a lot of problems to start off with. I thought i would post and say a big thanks to all those who gave very usefull advice.

Congratulations!

I think its great that you posted this as it sends a really positive message to those who just feel that they cant go on with this behaviour and cant see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well Done xx

Well done both of you, it just proves that you get out what you put in to them :)

Stann So pleased to hear that. I have to say that we often find that children are better with pups than adults. But perhaps that is because children are used to doing as they are told!
