Please help
I am 40 next month and thinking about getting another tattoo done.
I already have a daisy on my toe and I swore I would not have any more.
I quite fancy a sun flower on the side of my foot. My OH calls me 'an old hippy' :)
Or am I just having a mid life crisis and come to regret it.
your wisdom would be appreciated :)

I've got two, one at the top of my arm and one on my ankle. I would love one on the side of my foot. Does it hurt? Hubby's got quite a few, came home Tuesday with two more!

Hi Tippietoe,

There is nothing wrong if you won't another tattoo. My husband does Tattooing.
For a hobby, he loves body art.
When I got re-married, I had No tattoo's, after having surgery for an overion cyst,
I ended up with a large scar down my tummy. As we were going on holiday I was horrified.
So I asked my husband to find a tattoo to cover it.
I now have Tigar, down my tummy, you can't see the scar with my bikini on,
I have Winnie with tigar on one hip, Pigglet and eore on the other.
Lower back a Large Blue rose with trible round and a Playboy Rabbit on my waist at the back.
I didn't think I would ever have a tattoo, as I didn't wan't anythink permanent on my
body, But! it is so much better than my op. scar. No one ever notices it any more.
Just watch who does your tattoo, make sure they use disposible needles, and new ink pots.
Not one's they have used for previous customers.
Regards
Denese

I am going to have my third tat with my mum who is having her first, sometime soon. It is such a personal thing, and if you think there is even the slightest chance that you will end up regretting it, then wait until you are sure either way!

Thanks for your messages:)
I am booked in on Tuesday to have it done.
I am sooooo scared as when I had my toe tattooed it hurt like hell and took months to heal:(
If I managed 2 kids I'm sure I can manage another tat.

My daughter came home from holiday with another tatoo on her arm, she told me it said Mam & dad, what she did not tell me was that above it was a picture of 2 elephants with there trunks entwined.

Now I know I need the diet.

The thing with my daughter they have to hold her down to get blood at the hospital she is terrified of needles.  She has Pooh Bear, a swallow on her shoulder, AND mam and dad elephants.

It's not to bad on your foot, i had one done when i was about seventeen of a rose, but i regret it now, it looks so tacky and i think i look like a dike because it's on my shoulder.  When i wear a nice dress or top it's there on show and i hate it now i wish i'd never had it done.

warm regards Susan

I have a red eye tree frog on the side of my lower back, personally I don't care for it across the lower because everyone has them there.... Now Iam going in on the 16th and Iam getting a somby frog on my leg, Iam having the person free hand it. Can't wait!!! I all ready have my other frog picked a blue poison dart, and that will be my next tatty... Have this thing with frogs. But who knows, maybe I'll find something different by then, will see..... I wanna get one done on my foot too, but just haven't thought what yet, maybe some kind of reptile...

My hubby has 3 and well guess 4 cause that one is a work in progress. He's getting his whole back done free hand. Just looks awsome, can't wait till it is done. He's going in for more work on the 16, well we both are so that will be a very long day....
