Ok everyone
my eldest has now left school and finished exams.He is starting college in september but wants a part time job.Can he start one(if he can find one) now or must he wait till end of the school term?

My daughter has just finished her GCSE's and has applied for a part time job till September when she starts 6th form, full time.  As long as he has his National Insurance number  he can start work any time.

I got a job just before my GCSE's, worked during the half term and then started proberly after my exams had finished.  It mainly depends on where he goes and works. 

My daughter got her National Insurance No. in October, her birthday is December, so she could have started a job then, but concentrated on her revision, but now her exams are over she wants a part time job
