Hello Star. One thing I have found, not all aircraft are capable of carrying livestock eg: British Airways uses a prop. aircraft on the route from Newcastle to Southampton which cannot carry dogs. Also, there are hight restrictions to the holds on some jets. Probably a good idea if you either visit the airlines web-site or give them a call sooner rather than later as there are restrictions to the number of livestock carried in the holds.

Good luck with the tour.

i live 20 minutes away from newcastle airport, so when i was sending a pup over to ireland from my last litter thought it would be a doddle- however they couldnt help me--i had to drive the pup up to edinborough and she flew from there

hello Star , delighted to hear you are coming over . It is the best time you will ever have at shows , the atmosphere is great , I will look out for you then. I am not sure of prices but I know airlingus is the one that takes dogs, they have flights to dublin and cork , dublin airport is directly across the road from the kennel club grounds that is convenient for the working and pastoral on saturday for any one else is coming
you will be better going to cork as that leaves you within driving distance of 100 miles each way for the four shows. .where are you living , and do you show pointers , I can check if you are near any of the exhibitors in the catalogue , Mari

Actually it is my 12 and 13 year old girls coming over. We do have GSps but they are bringing our min pin over and staying with people who have Shibas and Beagles. The sea cat originally said they would take a dog but when I came to book it said not. The only airline I have found so far is Air Lingus and their price is £17o for both girls so that may be the option i need to go for.
