I just wondered how much some of you who have used Galastop pay for it? The reason I ask is I just paid £49 for 15ml of the stuff and told a dog friend who was shocked. This is the first time i used it and i would pay 100 for my dog but i dont like the thought of being ripped offf too.

Did you see the vet before it was prescribed? maybe the total includes a consultation fee?
I've been stung like this before for asking for an appointment when a visit to reception would have sufficed.
yes i saw a vet as this is the first time this has happened so i wanted her checked over i found the same drug for £15.00 online wholesale price so that is over 2x the normal charge.
if this happens again would you suggest just asking at reception? i thought you always had to have a consulation/
on the subject are there any herbal/homeopathic remedies to dry up milk from a bitch? would much rather go down that route if this occurs again (she will be bred on her 3rd season hen speyed).

Obviously for a new ailment you are best visiting a vet to get checked over maybe this is why the high cost as it incudes a consultation fee.
But i would have thought medication to dry up milk would have been pretty routine which a nurse could have dealt with? (avoiding the consulation fee)
My vet is brilliant and just lets me have it over the counter but a lot of vets want to see the bitch to see the vet each time. I usually pay around £40 so it doesnt sound overly expensive to me.
hi, im sorry to bring this post back up again, but didn't want to make a new one.
bull-lady, you mentioned you found this for £15 on a website, do you remember which one??
ive paid £38 for 15ml in the romford area. i was quoted £39 for 15ml in darlington.

Galastop is a prescribed drug, you would need a prescription from you vet to enable you to get it, you would also be charged for this

brie was going to go on it after losting her puppy two weeks a go for 15ml my vet charged £29.29
