Hiya Tams,
Tizzy is doing fine. She's actually a working cocker, not a collie, but to be honest she doesn't really look like a dog at all at the moment! She doesn't seem to have any adverse affects at all! (a slight bump in her stitches where the ribs were taken out, but when the stitches are removed next Wednesday, and her coat grows back, hopefully she will look 'normal' again.
My main problem has been trying to keep her from jumping on my other dogs who have both been outstanding with her. Working cockers are such toughies!
Seriously though, she seems ok with other dogs, friendly ones of course!, I haven't pushed her into meetings, just let her say hello in her own time. She has yet to meet a GSD, I think that I'll wait until her stitches are taken out, before embarking on that one.
Its still early days yet, she had so much done to her poor insides, yet she's still here with a smile on her face and a constantly wagging tails!.
The vets all call her the 'miracle puppy', she shouldn't really be here, she should have gone to doggy heaven last weekend, 10 week old pups are not supposed to go through 2 1/2 hours emergency surgery!
Fingers crossed, she should be ok, thanks for thinking of her (and me!)
Ali :)

Thanks for replying Ali, She's been on my mind for ages! So glad she's doing well, well done to you for coping so well. Sorry I got her breed wrong, I am a bit puppy brained at the moment!!! Kind regards Tam & Taffie xxxx
