Hi all
I just wanted to tell you all that since our ordeal on tuesday with jazmyne losing her pups .. she has perked up no-end and is almost her old self again :) she hasnt grieved at all for the pups which surprised me a little ..in all honesty if it wasnt for the baggy teats you would never tell that she had had pups in the first place .. she has resumed her normal role of top dog and has been keeping the others in their place no end .. her quick recovery has been such a relief to us all .. like a few on here said i think it hit us all harder than it did her ... she has hardly batted an eyelid at the whole ordeal
thanks again to all who gave us the help and support to get through our sad time on tuesday :)

So glad to hear she's bounced back.  I hope your experience has shown folk that breeding isn't always without worry and expense.

i hope so too digger .. all too many people see breeding dogs as a way to make a quick bit of money without realising the expense and trouble that goes into ...both my girl and boy are thoroughly health checked hip scored etc .. i always knew that breeding wouldnt be easy as i did endless research.. but this is still no guarantee that everything will turn out ok :(
if people think that there is tons of money to be made in breeding then they can certainly use my experience as an example ..after the cost of all relevant health tests.. pregnancy care for my bitch ..extra food and vet bills from tuesday im now out of pocket to the tune of over £1000 .. it is something that people need to seriously think about before even contemplating breeding their dogs
