Hi Archer,
{link}http://www.champdogs.co.uk{/link} except substitute the curly brackets {} for square ones [] (you have to remember to put in the http:// first - that's the bit I always forget  )

Do what I do Natalie - practice at 4-00 am!!!! Any foreigners visiting at that time probably think it's a peculiar British tradition to write silly messages to ourselves in blue and underlined and if you're quick you can delete it before the rest of 'em catch you in the morning :D :D :D
LOL Teri I will have to practice a lot!!! :D
FRDon't know if I am allowed to link there but for some reason that was the only website I could think of!!! :D
Now lets see if its worked....!
I am going to be linking from here till christmas now!! Thanks girls :D
Ok, while we are at it, how do you do quotes?

Just put a couple of >'s before the bit you want to quote :
>>Ok, while we are at it, how do you do quotes?
Wahoo! Now I feel like I have arrived!
I can...
>>Do this...
and this...
and this...

How do you do bold and underlining and that other weird writing????
>>can do that now too!!
Emily

Click the HELP button at the top of the page to find out how to do
bold etc ;)
Smilies , just hover your mouse over the ones you see and you can see how to make them ;)

 :p (but ignore the nose on them, you don't need a nose :D
: rolleyes : without the gaps makes

Super thread, :-) I was wondering how to do all those smiley faces too, lol.
>will this work?
 :-P :-( :-o :-D
How do you do the red angry smilie, the purple one with the question marks on top and the blue one with the white wide eyes? Tried hoovering my mouse over them but nothing showed. Forgive me if this post gets edited a few times, I'm experimenting, :-D

Teri :P

Heyyyy - thanks Teri :-D

I must make a list of these so I don't forget. :-D
This is fun!
Can you delete your own posts at all?
By Teri

Hi Spender you can use the delete option if you go into edit after posting something - but you only have a few minutes so if you're "playing"

(like anyone would do such a thing ;) you don't have long.
Teri

Thanks Teri, :-)
I was thinking of having a play, lol, but then I thought if people see my strange posts and I couldn't delete them, they'd think I'd lost the plot

:-D :-D
Oh poo, I forgot the

and :-O

HiTipple
The url in my browser bar is the same for all threads - http://www.champdogs.co.uk/ I can't find any other!
Must be different over here on the edge of the world (pembrokeshire) ;-)

Julie this is what it says in my browser bar(couldnt think what it was called before):
http://www.champdogsforum.co.uk/cgi-bin/board/topic_show.pl?tid=71370#fnp
But i do know you have to get rid of some of the end numbers or else it wont link,it's all very, very confusing.Hopefully someone can come and explain in simpleton terms :D
I dont think it matters where you are situated,it's really weird that your browser addy doesnt change from message to message. Can you copy and paste yours and post it,so i can have a look see?

All my threads show the same url (as above) honest! It just changes when I go out of the message board to the main CD site.
Julie

Hi if your browser bar doesn't give you the post address you can right click on the post and go to properties. The page that comes up then has the HTTP addy on that. I then copy and paste for the link to a particular CD post. Hope you can understand my explanation :)
