My long haired black GSD bitch is having a terrible time coping in the heat when we go out (which is as little as possible!) so I want to get her one of the silver, reflective coats I have seen other dogs with.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get one online?

Can I also suggest a towelling rug, which can be bought from waggitt and soaked in cold water to keep cool.  Also if you soak and wring out a large towel and put this on the floor for your dog to lie on, this helps a lot.  My boy is also suffering badly with the heat, as he's also black and long haired.  I've found these help a lot.
