hi everyone thought you might like to know about my 14yr old boys treatment. just after xmas his arthritis worstened and as he is sensetive to nsaids we were becoming very worried about what steps to take next. 8 weeks ago we found a terrific vet that specialised in acupuncture and homeopathic remedies. after a 6 week course of acupuncture and traumeel he is doing very well, better than we could have hoped for, he still has off days now and then, but overall he is doing so so well.although he has had some arthritic changes, that cannot be reversed they no longer cause pain. i would go as far as to say that he enjoys his treatment. he lays in my arms for 10 mins and is totally relaxed and for the rest of the day is completely chilled. so i would suggest to anyone worried about treatment with toxic drugs [for any condition really] to consult a qualified vet in acupuncture and give it a go it is a little expensive but when you add up all the drug costs and the cost of the drugs and consults to repair the damage done by the toxic drugs there is only a little difference.
thanks for the interesting information i am sure it will help a lot of us when considering arthritis treatment for our dogs

I also have a 14 yr old Terrier cross who has Arthritis in her hind legs. She was on Rymidil for about 6 months until a friend told me about Seraquin tablets which are completely natural and have no side effects. In just 6 weeks we have seen an amazing difference, no limping, lethargy or stiffness after laying down, she has gained a new lease of life and is an active `puppy` again. I would recommend Seraquin to anyone who has pets that suffer from Arthritis.
