Hi

Any ideas on how I can remove chewing gum from the fur between the pads of my CKCS paw.  Im not keen on trying to cut it out with scissors as may cause distress to Charlie, but will as a last resort.

He's not bothered by it at the moment but I think it's just a matter of time.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Sam

someone told me to cover the gum in ice cubes to freeze it and then it picks off easily. not sure how good it will work on dogs fur, works on carpets etc. :-)

I also heard that freezing the gum first then picking it off works on carpets etc. Again..not sure about dogs fur. ;-) Maybe worth a try though! :-)

or i just checked a book, and they say egg whites ( no yolk lol ) onto the gum and work out with your fingers... works on gum in hair and as fur is similar worth a try :D
