
Maybe, the vet should be able to tell her, if she is pregnant she could be spayed now and the foetuses removed or if she came from a rescue organisation they should be able to assist with whatever part of the welping and rearing she does not feel able to do herself. I would definately leave the homing of pups of uncertain parentage to the rescue people as it will take experience to ensure they go to suitable homes that will be able to cope no matter what they turn out like physically and temperamentally. If she got her from another source, for that reason, I think spaying would be her best option if the bitch does turn out to be pregnant.
