
Well done on a good hip score. For this breed the KC recommend that she holds a current annual test pass on her eyes under the KC/BVA scheme and also a good score on her elbows. After that you need to ensure she is a good example of the breed if you are not wishing to show her you could seek the opinion of her breeder or other reputable breeders, the breed club could put you in touch with someone. The would also be able to guide you in finding a suitable stud dog to match her and her lines. Cumbria is not highly populated and you may well have to look beyond the county for the right dog the chances of him living close are probably pretty slim I'm afraid. You will of course need to choose a dog with all the necessary health passes too.
On the subject of lots of interest in the pups. In my experience they very often don't materialise when push comes to shove after all if they had had the space and time for a golden pup before now, well they would have got one wouldn't they. The last thing you would want is a less than committed person taking one just because they had said something nice about your dog out of politeness.
