Our eight month old Labrador bitch is progressing really well and she is a model student in her obedience classes! However she is too friendly and we can't stop her from jumping up at people who come to the house or people she meets on a walk (in Thetford Forest) when unleashed.
We have asked people to ignore her, turn their backs on her, raise their knee etc. but nothing seems to work.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

All i can say Barbara is when people visit, put her on a lead ask her to sit and when she does so then allow visitors to stroke her, the same could be done in the park tell people not to stroke her until she sits then give her loads of praise when she does so, be constistent though. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Warm regards susan

If your dog is jumping up at people on walks you have a recall and general control problem.
If the dog came back when called obviously it could not jump up..........
End of problem.
