hey after just looking on the champ dogs site to find some staffy breeders it says that all owners homes wil be vetted but what does this mean??

Vetting usually means that they will want to check out your home to make sure that it is suitable for one of their puppies, maybe to see that you live where you say you live and that the garden is fenced off and high enough to stop the puppy getting out, that type of thing.

ALL good breeders should vet potential owners.Sometimes they will do a home check but most often it means getting quized to assess the suitability to own one of the pups. A breeder who asks questions cares!!!!

before we got our puppy we where given what seems like  the third degree from the breeder and i was happy to go along with it, i knew she cared for her pups and their welfare that was over 12 years ago, and because of her when i bred a litter under her guidance, the potential owners where vetted by me, and if i did not think a puppy would be suitable for them i would tell them, this may seem harsh to some people but i tried my best for my pups to make sure they where going to the homes that where best for them.
Some breeders may also require vet refs,so don't be worried they are just trying to do their best for their pups.
