can i damage
my puppys insides cause i walk
her to the woods not every day but once a week
my mates says its a bite
too far  cause

What do you mean "your puppies insides"? What sort of dog is she?  You should be able to tell if you are walking too far - she'll let you know. At 6 months old your dog will love being out in fresh air, she is learning about the outside world and enjoying herself too.

I think by 'the puppies insides' she means its joints, oliversmum, and yes, too much exercise too young can indeed cause damage. Pups of this age sadly won't tell you they've 'done enough' until they've done far too much.

Ah.  Wondered what she meant by "insides". When I hear that expression I automatically associate that with stomach/intestines. When mine were younger they would just sit down after about ten minutes demanding to be taken home (usually carried).

A dog of this age will not regulate its own exercise. My boy would have gone for miles if I had let him - however I used the 5 minute rule as a guide to how much exercise he should receive.
