My puppies are 3 weeks 4 days old, they I have been giving them a little bit of food with no problems, until today, one of my puppies has diarrhoea, there is no blood in it but it is very runny. The other 3 puppies are fine. Could this be Coccidiosis or am I being paranoid? It's my first time and I couldn't bare to loose any more ( I lost 2 @ 1 day old) Should I see if it continues before I ring the vet?

Have they been wormed recently?  Puppies do sometimes get the runs, if they've over eaten, or ate something different than normal.  Try not to worry just yet, it could be a case of over eating.

In my experience puppies have the runnies quite a lot for no reason whatsoever.  You probably are being overanxious says she who is totally paranoid ;)

Hi Jules..you should take a stool sample intpo the vet ASAP..they usually don't contract coccidia until they are a little older but could have round worms..either way its better to find out what causing the loose stool ..in my opinion its not normal
