Hi,
My bitch was due into season the 2 of June!! that is
exactly 6months from her last. On grooming her yesterday
I noticed she was swollen But!! not bleeding.
The dog, was showing to much intrest in her for my
liking. I was so paronode last season, I must have made
her life hell! But.after reading on Champdogs that they
can have silent seasons, Guess what I'm getting paronode
again. She is a very clean bitch anyway. But! there is No
bleeding. Please share your experience.
Regards
Denese

I think it would be a good idea to get your vet to check her for you, just in case your dog catches her.:-)

My dog was ? in season last month and was mated, on purpose I hasten to add, as I'd been waiting for a long time for her to come in.  Her chest has widened and her nipples are quite big this week so fingers crossed.  She did not swell as much as usual and I only saw one spot of blood and nothing else.  They are as a breed very heavy when they are on their season so they can never be totally clean.

I would keep them apart if I were you :d

Hi
My dogs last season was colourless apart from the first day when she had slight bleeding. As she was due to be mated I spoke to the stud dog owner who said bring her anyway see how it goes. She was swollen as in a normal season. She was mated day 12 & 14 - and bingo it worked. This is her 4th mating and first pregnancy. She missed every other time when she had had a "normal" season.
Take Care
Helen
