Is any one else fed up of this weather? We are on the 7th day of JUNE and it has done nothing but rain! Today has been a bit brighter but it is still cold :( Where is this heat wave they keep promising?
- By ClaireyS Date 07.06.05 14:36 UTC
Where do you live ??? its beautiful, sunny and warm here in Basingstoke ;)
- By Natalie1212 Date 07.06.05 14:40 UTC
Accrington - near Blackburn, I suppose it doesn't help that we live on top of a very big hill?!!! We were in Corfu a few weeks ago and even the worst day we had there has been better than the best day we have had here!
- By Isabel Date 07.06.05 14:43 UTC
Oh well, if you are going to compare it to Corfu! :D

Hi claireyS, I'm also in Basingstoke, and yes it's been lovely and sunny all day.

Lovely in the North West, yesterday was very good too.  In fact all this month has been pretty good so far, you need to move! :)
- By Natalie1212 Date 07.06.05 14:42 UTC
LOL I am in the north-west!
- By Natalie1212 Date 07.06.05 15:16 UTC
Everyone I have seen go past has had coats on, so I assumed it was one of those days where it looks lovely and warm, but is actually freezing, BUT I have just popped to the shops for some milk, and it is baking outside. I am now sat out in the gaden with the laptop :D

Wish I had have gone to the shop earlier now ;)

Gorgeous and sunny in Manchester - kids in t-shirts and shorts. (Am I rubbing it in?)
- By Natalie1212 Date 07.06.05 15:21 UTC
My little boy has just come out to the garden with his shorts on (back to front!), his sunglasses, his sandels (suprisingly on the right feet!) and his watergun! You can guess what he did next!! :D

What bugs me just now is the weekend isn't that great but the last few mondays have been beautiful :-(

I love it when it is nice and dry to get out everywhere and anywhere with the dogs.  WHen it is wet I tend to keep mine off the grass and out the muck ( I try anyway)

Natalie you have to move south a bit.  Here in South Manchester it's absolutely gorgeous brilliant sunshine, has been on and off for about the last week!!!

I was in Italy from the 25th May to the 29th, the weather was up in the 90's and I was complaining about the heat and how I would love one cool day. Came back on Monday and started a holiday in not so sunny Skeggy on Tuesday, Guess which one I want to do again.

I have to go over to Italy every month untill December to visit my new puppy, it's a tough job but someone has to do it

Hi im in Baxenden just outside Accrington no rain here at all this week, in fact ive sat out most days, monday was very warm in fact i burnt my legs and also showered my dogs with the hose pipe to cool them down. And today its been very warm so im not complaining, your only a couple of miles away from me and its been raining ive not seen a drop. ? are you on top of the coppice im near the motorway in the sky.
- By Natalie1212 Date 11.06.05 07:43 UTC
LOL I love that 'motorway in the sky' the views are amazing!

It had rained everday this month until the the 6th (Monday), when I wrote the message on Tuesday, it had brightened up but people outside were still wearing coats, but when we popped round to the shop it was lovely, the sun was out shining bright and it had been like that all week until yesterday afternoon when it clouded over, and today it is really cloudy, still warm-ish and I don't expect it to be long until it rains :(

We are up in the hills, if you know Accington at all, we are up in Furngore, just on the outskirts of Accrington.

- By Natalie1212 Date 12.06.05 09:39 UTC
We are right at the top of Willows Lane, just before you get into the countryside.

It rained here on Monday, Tuesday it brightened up a bit, then it was nice, warm and sunny, until Friday afternoon when it came over cloudy, but I don't think it has rained and it is still warm.
